I have a webseries and I wanna created pages for it on social networking sites, even Though I **** them. But myspace sucks, as does facebook. Twitter seems pointless, but then again, they all do.

linkedin.com for professional connections,
create your own using open source software and host it if you have a nice concept that other have not yet thought of OR if you just want to draw in a different social network.

I joined mysportspageusa.com
I felt like myspace and facebook wasn’t right for me
mysportspageusa is sports social networking site which works better for me.
Good features, I just wish they had a privacy feature.
I guess they are working on it and it should be out with the next upgrade.

I definitely agree with using linked-in especially if you are a computer professional. I was able to find and keep up with a lott of my former co-workers. You can also join groups withinlinked-inn so this can help you network with others that have interests similar to yours. Groups can also help you keep in touch with co-workers from previous companies you have worked for.
